Award winning filmmaker Robert Goose Scott has worked as a writer, director, and producer of film and theater. His short narrative film, Grandma’s Box, was a Finalist in the EdiPlay International Film Festival and the Multi Dimension International Film Festival, and his other film, A Clean Sleep, won Best Short Dramedy at the Take It Easy Film Festival, an Honorable Mention at the OneReeler Film Festival, and earned a Nomination for Best Romantic Comedy at the Indie Short Fest. His other credits include his short narrative film, Séance, as well as working on The Black String and Charlotte on the Rebound.

Goose earned degrees in English, Theatre, Film and Television with an emphasis in writing and directing. He wrote and directed two one-act plays for the Cal State University, Bakersfield’s Theatre Department. He has also directed and produces several short films while at Cal State Bakersfield, such as California on Wheels, Through the Pale Blue Sky, and Ms. V and the Story of Orange, as well as If I Can’t Have You and Vitamin D as a founding member of The Film Club at CSUB. 

In 2018, Goose worked at KernCast.com, producing video podcasts for daily topical shows as The Denice Gary Show, The Inga Barks Show, and The Kelly Gladden Show.

Goose's feature screenplay, A Simple Misunderstanding, received high marks in premise and creativity from the California State University Media Arts Festival in 2015. 

Goose also worked in radio broadcasting for American General Media as a Production Assistant and Producer since 2007, and has worked on such shows as The Roy Ashburn Show, Moneywise, Bakersfield Condors hockey, Bakersfield College football, and CSUB basketball. 

Goose enjoys his personal time with friends and family playing video games, coaching baseball, playing music, and writing novels.
